Case Visualizer

The Case Visualizer is displayed when the widget is selected from the workspace.



Description:

Use the Case Visualizer to to visualize and communicate key relationships between entities.

CenterCenters graph on canvas.

googleRuns an external Google search on selected entity. 
Graph

Each case can have multiple graphs. The graph dropdown enables you to switch between these graphs and to create new graphs.

 
SnapshotSnapshots allow you to store the state of the case Visualizer workspace at a given point in time for easy recall. You can restore any snapshot later on by overwriting the current graph. 
Export/ImportExport graph in XML or PNG, or import a graph XML. 
Horizontal Link LengthClick on drag to vary horizontal link length. 
Vertical Link LengthClick on drag to vary vertical link length. 
Undo/Redorevert/bring back most recent action. 
Merge Graphs

Enables you to merge two graphs into a third graph.

 
Save Query  
Time Slider

Filters out entities on the graph based on the selection of the time slider.

 
Toggles between select and multi-select. 
Daily HistoryEnables you to revert to historical auto-saved versions of the graphs, by selecting from the dropdown. 

 

Editor

The Editor is displayed when it is expanded from within the Case Visualizer widget.

Description:

Use the Editor to edit the entity nodes.

OverviewProvides an easily navigable overview of all the nodes on the graph for ease of localization. 
NodesDrag and drop the various node types onto the workspace to manually add entities into the graphs. 
Style

The following styles are possible for Nodes:

Vcard: icon is displayed. Node name is displayed inside information box. Info. box includes Urls or free-form text.

Icon: only icon and node name are displayed.

 

 
Properties

Properties of the Node.

Name: Displays node name.

Date: Date associated with the entity (harvest date).

Convert to Target: Enables you to convert a node as target for documentation in the Case Manager.

VCard Data: Enables you to add free-form text to the information displayed in the vCard.

Add Urls: Add Urls to the node.
