Alias Manager
The Alias Manager widget is displayed when the widget is added to the workspace.
Description
Use the Alias Manager to merge duplicate entities, discard unwanted entities and remove entire classes of entities/associations.

Widget name. | ||
Ignore/Apply workspace filtering. See section Common Functionality for more information. | ||
Reload aliases from the database. | ||
Add to query. For more information, see section Common Functionality. | ||
Communities dropdown | Dropdown that allows you to select communities for filtering of entities and alias sets. | |
Reveals additional settings. Filter by Selected Community: Filters the list of entities based on the community selected in the dropdown. Show Shared Aliases: By default, only the primary aliases for the selected community are displayed. You can enable "Show Shared Aliases" to view all other alias sets that have been shared with the selected community. | ||
Filter/Add Entities | Use this search box to filter the list of returned entities for the source data. You can also directly type an Entity to add it to the list of Aliases for a Master Entity. | |
Create exact terms for aliases | Enable to create "text" query terms. For more information see section Alias Manager (Enterprise) | |
Filter Type | Use the Filter Type dropdown, to filter the returned list of entities by Entity Type:

Filter/Add Master | You can use this dialog box to add a Master entity by providing "entity name/entity type" and clicking on the plus sign. | |
Maser Entity List | List of master entities. Master Entity: Name of the master entity Type: Type of master entity Remove: Removes the entity from the list. | |
Alias List | List of aliases for selected master entities. Alias: Name of the alias. Remove: Removes the entity from the list. |
