Timeline
The Event Timeline widget appears when the widget is added to the workspace.
Description:
Use the Event Timeline widget to show timestamped associations between entities over time, including the start/end times of long running associations. Timeline for a temporal view of documents and document counts, displayed over time.

Event information displays when you click on a plus sign for one of the events
Entity Links
Entity links displays when you click on one of the entity links from the event information.
Description:
Use entity links to explore temporal relationships between the entities.

Max No. of Docs:
Measures on the timeline the max amount of documents, at any point on the timeline, that are returned by the query. If the query contains entities then the max No. of Docs takes into account mentions of the entity/entities within the documents generated by the query.
