Manage Data Groups

The Manage Data Groups screen appears when you click on Data Groups from the Manager.




Description:

Use Manage Data Groups to Add new Data Groups and Edit existing Data Groups.

FieldDescription
Display nameName of the Data Group.
OwnerUser that is assigned as owner to the Data Group.
DescriptionDescription of the Data Group.
Actions

Possible actions:

Edit.

Add/Edit Data Group

The following fields appear when you click on Add/Edit Data Group.


FieldDescription
NameName of the Data Group
IDSystem generated unique ID for the Data Group.
Owner

User that is assigned as owner to the Data Group.

Owner IDSystem generated unique ID for the owner of the Data Group.
DescriptionOptional description for the User Group.
TagsTags to describe the Data Group.
User Options

isPublic: User Group is publicly viewable within the Information Security Analytics platform.

publishMemberOverride: TODO

registrationRequiresApproval: All registrations require the approval of the User Group Owner.

usersCanCreateSubCommunities: Enables user registered to the User Group to create sub-groups.

usersCanSelfRegister: Enables users to register themselves to the User Group. If "registrationRequiresApproval" is enabled, the self-registration will require the approval of the User Group owner.

This UI Element displays the Data Sources that have been associated with the Data Group.

User & User Groups Picker:

You can use this UI element to add Users and other User Groups to your Data Group.

All: All available users and user groups.

Users: Available users.
