The Search Results appear in response to a search/query.

Query Relevance

Query Relevance describes how well a document matches the user's query.

Aggregate Significance

Aggregate significance describes how well the user's query matches the entities in the source documents.

TagsWhen sources are added to the platform tags can be applied. These tags can then be used to limit a query to a subset of documents within a Project based on document tags. 
MetadataSee View Metadata. 
EntitiesName: Entity Name. 

Type: The set of values permitted by the "type" field depends on how the entity was extracted: Commercial third party extractors have set types, but some other entity extractors enable users to set custom entity types.

Sentiment: Sentiment is a statistic that IKANOW captures on a per entity/query basis and which refers to the perceived positive or negative feeling around a specific entity.  Sentiment can also capture the positive or negative relationship between two entities.

Associations

The association object is intended to provide a minimal but generic description of various activities and relationships. It can be thought of as "subject verb object at location over time", where the subjects and objects can be free text and/or point to entities within the document.

Document Metadata appears when you click on the "View Metadata" button from Show Details.

The metadata that will display is source specific, and is displayed in a table view such as the following.

 

Search History

Search History is displayed when clicking on Search History in the left menu navigation.

Description:

Use Search History to view the history of queries run against your projects.

Filter the results in the history by typing into the "Filter history" form.

Entity FilterEntity filters, if any, that were applied with the query.

Actions

Delete the query.
