Manage Data Groups
The Manage Data Groups screen appears when you click on Data Groups from the Manager.
Description:
Use Manage User Data Groups to Add new User Data Groups and Edit existing User Data Groups.

Display name | Name Name of the Data Group. | |
Status | Status of the user: Active: User Group account is active Disabled: Data Group is not active, but has yet to be deleted from the system. Pending Delete: Awaiting administrator approval to be deleted. | -need to confirm full list of data group status.

Add/Edit
UserData Group
The following fields appear when you click on Add/Edit User Data Group.

Name | Name of the User Data Group | |
ID | System generated unique ID for the User Data Group. | |
Owner | User that is assigned as owner to the User Data Group. TODO: would be good to review permissions that the owner has. | |
Owner ID | System generated unique ID for the owner of the User Data Group. | |
Description | Optional description for the User Group. | |
Tags | Tags to describe the Data Group. | |
User Options | isPublic: User Group is publicly viewable within the Threat Analytics platform. registrationRequiresApproval: All registrations require the approval of the User Group Owner. usersCanCreateSubCommunities: Enables user registered to the User Group, to create sub-groups. usersCanSelfRegister: Enables users to register themselves to the User Group. If registrationRequiresApproval is enabled, the self-registration will require the approval of the User Group owner. |

You can use the UI element to add Users and other User Groups to your User Data Group.
