Tomcat upgrade instructions

From tomcat6 to tomcat7

legacy "infint.e*" RPMs

Before upgrading to Infinit.e 1.2+ it is necessary to do the following:

• Install the following file "jpackage60.repo" in "/etc/yum.repos.d":

[jpackage-6.0-generic]
name=JPackage 6.0, for generic
#baseurl=MIRROR/VERSION/generic/free/
mirrorlist=http://www.jpackage.org/mirrorlist.php?dist=generic&type=free&release=6.0
gpgcheck=0

• Run the following command:

yum -y install tomcat7 tomcat7-webapps tomcat7-admin-webapps redhat-lsb

Then upgrade to Infinit.e 1.2 as per usual.

new "ikanow*" RPMs

Nothing to do, the "ikanow*" RPMs have always used tomcat7 as the default. Note that the "ikanow/tomcat" service is called "tomcat-interface-engine", there is no version number in the script unlike for the "infinit.e*" RPMs.
